There are certain terms in Christianity that have multiple uses and differing feelings associated with them because of the stereotypes and definitions they’ve acquired over the years. ‘Church’ is one of those terms. Yet, ‘ecclesia’ is one of the original words used to describe the first collection of believers, and we want to be sure we are aligning our microchurches with the original concept and intent.

This class will look at the legacy of the church, explore primitive ecclesiology, and offer a model to help microchurches build church structures that bring the kingdom into the city.
